KHS.MFL – Fire Retardant For Wood and MDF Materials

KHS.MFL: Water-based, transparent, odorless, safe and environmentally friendly fire retardant for fireproofing cellulose-based products such as MDF, Plywood, OSB, etc.

After being treated with KHS.MFL flame retardant solution, the surface of materials exposed to fire only becomes charred, does not catch fire, does not emit toxic smoke, does not spread or burn.

Materials after being treated with KHS.MFL solution meet fire resistance standards according to QCVN06: 2022/BXD

CONSTRUCTION:

The surface before treatment must be dry and cleaned from dirt, dust, grease, etc. Optimum moisture content of wood and plywood is not more than 15%. Apply by brush, roller, spray gun or impregnated in solution.

After drying, the surface of the material can be painted or laminated or laminated, melamine finished without affecting the fire resistance.

AMOUNT:

• Apply by spraying, sweeping: 80 – 150 grams/m²
• Soak, impregnated in solution: 120 – 180 grams/m².
• Processing time 3 – 60 minutes.
• Norm & time depends on permeability & dryness, thickness of each material.
• Recommendation: Pressure impregnation of the material is recommended to achieve the best effect.
• Drying time: 2 – 12 hours at +25°C, 65% humidity, completely dry within 24 – 48 hours

PACKAGING:

• Can 5 – 20 kg

EXPIRY:

• 12 months in sealed packaging, temperature from +8 to +35°C in a cool place, away from direct sunlight.

WORKING SAFETY MEASURES:

After use, clean the tool with clean water. Equip labor protection equipment when working: gloves, masks, eye glasses. Avoid letting the solution come into direct contact with plants and surrounding metals. In case the solution gets into the eyes, wash several times with clean water and see a doctor.
