Testing to determine the fire resistance of a 1-panel wooden door product model (Amavi fireproof wooden door)

On August 16, 2019, the Fire Prevention Laboratory (LAS – XD 416) – Institute of Construction Structures – Institute of Construction Science and Technology conducted a fire resistance test for 01 door model. 01-wing wooden walkway for customer AMAVI Construction and Furniture Joint Stock Company. The tested sample is a 1-panel wooden door system with a wooden door frame structure. The assessment of the fire resistance of the test samples is carried out based on the standard TCVN 9383:2012 (BS EN 1634-1:2008).

Testing was performed on a vertical furnace system. The environmental conditions of the test furnace (temperature and pressure) are controlled and maintained according to the requirements stated in the TCVN 9311-1:2012 (ISO 834-1) procedure. Monitoring results showed that the technical parameters of the test furnace all complied with the requirements of the test method standards, and the test sample achieved fire resistance for 70 minutes.
The entire testing process is performed in the presence of the customer’s technical experts.
